Society Registration

A society is an association of persons united together by mutual consent to deliberate, determine and act jointly for same common purposes. As per the Societies Registration Act, 1860, a society can be formed by minimum seven (maximum 21) persons, eligible to enter into contract, for different purposes like Grant of Charitable Assistance; creation of fund and promotion of science, literature, knowledge, education etc.

REQUIREMENT FOR SOCIETY REGISTRATION

FOR STATE LEVEL SOCIETY

  • Minimum 7 members are required.
  • Address and ID Proff of all the Members.
  • Electricity Bill or Water Bill of the Registered Office of the Society.

FOR NATIONAL LEVEL SOCIETY

  • Minimum 8 members of different States are required. 
  • Address and ID Proff of the Members.
  • Electricity Bill or Water Bill of the Registered Office of the Society.
